Jana's Story
Life
Lets see...since high school. I married in Aug. of 1981. Gave birth to my son on my 19th birthday. Did Plus size modeling for 1 year and worked in a salon for 4. Moved to Florida in 1985. Became a stay at home mom. Ran an in home daycare. Became a Foster Parent in 1994 to date have had 293 foster children. Privately adopted our first daughter in 1989. And have adopted 10 of our foster children since then. 3 boys and 9 girls, is our total, we are done. Oh and yes I am still married. 23 years this year. Our son married last year and we are awaiting the arrival of our first Grand-Daughter this July. Time sure does fly. If you are ever in Florida please give us a call. I live about 40 miles from Mickey Rat.

Up date...our grand daughter was born a healthy 7 lbs and 21 inches on July 7th, 2004. her name is Kayla Marie. We survived the three hurricanes with minimal damage. My son on the other...Expand for more
hand lost his Condo to the first storm and is since living with us, still waiting for the repairs to be done on his Condo. So we now have my parents,(we do have a mother-in- law apartment for them) their dog, my son, his wife and child, their 2 dogs, our 10 children and our 2 dogs my husband and myself living in our home. This is a good example of organized chaos. And life goes on..
Update (10-10-2005).my son has once again been busy, our next grandchild is due March 19th 2006. I know this is just the beginning. We have 2 juniors, 2 freshmen, 4,3,2,1,and K and one at home, he is 2 and meaner then a snake. Old age should be fun.
Update 3-27-06 My Dad past away 12-30-05 I sure miss him alot. Our 2nd granddaughter was born a healthy 6lb.1oz on 3-6-06. Her name is Halee Ann. Sure is cute, although she could be green with one eye and I would still think she was the most beautiful thing in the world. Here is to seeing everyone at the 25th reunion.
